Fillion on hold for talent deal at Fox, 20th TV
Nathan Fillion has inked a talent holding deal with Fox Broadcasting Co. and 20th Century Fox TV. Under the pact, the studio and the network will develop a comedy or drama script for the actor. If it doesn't go to pilot, Fox and 20th TV would cast him in an existing project. Fillion's previous talent deal with 20th TV during the 2001-02 development season led to his starring role on the Fox/20th TV sci-fi drama "Firefly" from creator/executive producer Joss Whedon and in "Serenity," Whedon's feature for 20th Century Fox based on the series. Fillion, who most appeared in the feature "Slither," next stars in "White Noise 2: The Light." He is repped by the Gersh Agency and 3 Arts Entertainment.
