A 'Bounty' of three

Cillian Murphy, Jim Broadbent and Brendan Gleeson will star in Ian Fitzgibbon's sophomore outing, "Perrier's Bounty," the film's producers said. Billed as a comedy thriller set in Dublin, it is penned by Mark O'Rowe and revolves around three unlikely fugitives on the run from a gangster kingpin. It begins shooting in early November in Ireland.

'Fanboys' flip

Kyle Newman's "Fanboys" has seen its release date change again. The Weinstein Co. comedy, which was supposed to have been released Nov. 26, is now eying a Feb. 6 date.

'ALVIN' AGAIN

Fox has set a release date of Christmas Day 2009 for its sequel "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel."

Dickinson aboard

Dickinson Theatres has signed up for digital-cinema deployer Access Integrated Technologies' Phase 2 deployment plan for up to 10,000 screens. Dickinson will convert 310 screens in 24 multiplexes.

'DOUBT' ASSURED AT AFI

Miramax's "Doubt," starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep, has been drafted to serve as the opening-night film of AFI Fest 2008, screening Thursday at ArcLight Hollywood's Cinerama Dome. It replaces "The Soloist," which was pulled when its release was postponed until March 13.
