"The Incredible Hulk" producer Gale Anne Hurd will be honored Dec. 7 with the career achievement award from the inaugural Women's International Film & Television Showcase at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. Hurd has produced more than two dozen films and is chair of the production company Valhalla Motion Pictures. Her latest film, "Punisher: War Zone," is set for release Dec. 5.
Annie Sundberg and Ricki Stern's "The Devil Came on Horseback," Pamela Johnson's "Stitches," Cynthia Wade's "Freeheld," Maryam Keshevarz's "Circumstance," Enrica Perez's "Taxista," Marissa O'Guinn's "Foiled" and Eunhee Cho's "Inner Circle Line" will receive the Adrienne Shelly Foundation's 2007-08 grants Nov. 17 at a fundraising gala at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
Fernando Eimbcke's "Lake Tahoe" has been picked up for North American distribution by Film Movement. It hits U.S. theaters next year.

A team from Sony Pictures Imageworks that developed the stereoscopic 3-D post pipeline used to make "Beowulf" will be among the recipients of the Hollywood Post Alliance's Judge's Award for Creativity and Innovation in Post Production, set for Nov. 6 at the HPA Awards.
