GRAHAM IN 'WITCH' HAT

Stephen Graham has joined the cast of Relativity's "Season of the Witch," starring Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman. Graham, who next appears in Michael Mann's "Public Enemies" as Babyface Nelson, will play a swindler and navigator in the period horror movie. The Brit, who toplined 2006's "This Is England," is repped by Independent Talent Group in the U.K. and Kritzer Levine Wilkins Entertainment.

GEN ART DEADLINE

Submissions of features and shorts for the Gen Art Film Festival, now in its 14th year, must be entered by Nov. 30. The New York festival chooses seven entries in each format from across the country.

SUNDANCE WINNER

The Sundance Institute Feature Film Program has awarded its 2008 Lynn Auerbach Screenwriting Fellowship to Jonathan Wysocki and his project "All Fall Down," which was developed at the Institute's 2008 Screenwriters Lab. The fellowship, which carries a cash stipend of $2,500, supports an emerging screenwriter through ongoing development of his or her screenplay.

'Eli' finds home

"Book of Eli," a futuristic action thriller starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman, will base its production at Albuquerque Studios, with principal photography due to start in February in and around New Mexico. The Warner Bros. film is set for release Jan. 15, 2010.
