3-D ALL-STARS

DreamWorks Animation's Jeffrey Katzenberg and Fox Sports TV Group chair David Hill are among the featured keynotes set for the 3-D Entertainment Summit on Dec. 1-2 in Century City. The two-day conference, created by former Hollywood Reporter publisher and editor-in-chief Bob Dowling, will examine 3-D entertainment, including film, TV, live events, video games, theater distribution and home entertainment. James Cameron also is set to make a joint presentation with his "Avatar" director of photography Vince Pace.

SMITH, CHAVEZ GET 'HIGH'

"The Simpsons" star Yeardley Smith and Luis Chavez (Starz's "Crash") are joining Adrien Brody and Michael Chiklis in the Parallel Zide film "High School." John Stalberg Jr.'s comedy centers on a valedictorian (Matt Bush) and a stoner (Sean Marquette) who try to beat their high school drug test by getting the whole school stoned. The APA-repped Smith plays a prim homeroom teacher. Chavez, repped by Amatruda Benson & Associates and Kritzer/ Levine/Wilkins, will play the leads' druggie friend.

ISRAEL FEST WINNERS

Avi Nesher's tale of Orthodox female friends "The Secrets" and Ran Tal's kibbutz documentary "Children of the Sun" took home the two top audience awards at the 23rd annual Israel Film Festival in New York late last week.
