NOT ANOTHER ONE

Chevy Chase, Burt Reynolds, Vinnie Jones, Michael Madsen and "Stuttering" John Melendez are spoofing the nonstop flood of spoof films in the upcoming indie comedy "Not Another Not Another Movie." Production is nearing completion on the film. True Fiction and Daval Releasing are repping AFM presales.

RINGING 'BELLE'

IFC Films has nabbed U.S. rights to "La Belle Personne," Christophe Honore's French coming-of-age drama starring Louis Garrel. IFC's Lizzie Nastro negotiated the deal with Le Pacte's Elisabeth Perlie. The distributor will release the film next year.

ANOTHER SIDE TO 'FRANK'

Nu Image/Millennium Films is producing and repping presales for "My Friend Anne Frank," a feature adaptation of Jacqueline van Maarsen's best-selling memoir. Alberto Negrin, who helmed the Italian World War II hero biopic "Perlasca," is attached to direct the film. Van Maarsen went to school with Frank and was described as her best friend Jopie in "The Diary of Anne Frank." The film's plot will follow the young friends' separate internments in concentration camps.

'SOLO' AT ROADSIDE

Los Angeles-based Roadside Attractions has picked up domestic rights to Ramin Bahrani's drama "Goodbye Solo," one of a dozen territories to land the Venice fest prizewinner at AFM. Roadside will give the film a national platform rollout in the spring.
