Film Factory to Handle International Sales for Miguel Angel Toledo's Debut 'The Path'
"The Path" is currently in post-production and Film Factory will present original footage at the Cannes market.
MADRID -- Film Factory Entertainment announced Friday it will handle international sales for Miguel Angel Toledo's feature debut The Path, co-written with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who will direct the upcoming remake of the The Crow.
The Path, shot entirely in the snow, is presently in post-production and Film Factory will present original footage at the Cannes market.
"The Path is the perfect mix of the two main genres that we want to bring to the marketplace: up-and-coming directors and original genre films," said Film Factory's Vicente Canales. "The director and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo have a great script with a tense and claustrophobic atmosphere."
Path tells of Raul who, in an effort to salvage his marriage, takes his wife and son to a remote cabin where they befriend the locals. Raul's jealousy of his wife's relationship with one in particular seems to have innocent explanations, but as time passes, Raul must take a sinister trip down memory lane and face a terrible reality.
