Film Finance Forum to Be Held in Singapore for First Time
The conference will be part of ScreenSingapore, a weeklong series of cinema events.
Winston Baker, a global producer of film finance conferences, announced that the Film Finance Forum will be held in Singapore for the first time on June 7.
The conference will be part of ScreenSingapore, a weeklong series of cinema events that also includes a trade show, conferences and master classes.
Amy Baker, a managing partner of Winston Baker, said that the forum will suggest avenues of growth for Asian filmmakers and distributors, including government incentives, alternative distribution and monetizing on 3D films.
The forum will be held at the Capella Resort on Sentosa Island in Singapore; the speakers will include financiers and executives from the international entertainment community.
Ashok Amritraj, the chairman and CEO of Hyde Park Entertainment Group and a member of ScreenSingapore’s board, will chair the forum.
The Film Finance Forum Series has previously been held in Los Angeles, New York, Cannes and Zurich.
