Final 'Annie' Trailer Has Billionaire Jamie Foxx Competing With Absent Parents

'Annie'

"There's half a locket around her neck so when we come for her, you know she's our girl"

In the final trailer for Annie, the orphan's long-lost parents are actually a major presence.

"Please take care of our baby — her name's Annie," reads Quvenzhane Wallis as the title character. "There's half a locket around her neck so when we come for her, you know she's our girl."

Jamie Foxx (as Benjamin Stacks, an update on the Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks character) invites Annie to come live with him as a way to curry favor with the public ahead of the mayoral election. But when two of his staffers (Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne) reveal that they may have found the semi-adopted girl's birth parents, he begins to reconsider her role in his life.
