'FlashForward' actress joins NBC pilot
Christine Woods cast in 'Perfect Couples'; other pilots expand
"FlashForward" co-star Christine Woods has been tapped as the female lead in NBC's comedy pilot "Perfect Couples."
Meanwhile, Teri Polo has been cast in TBS' hourlong pilot "Glory Daze," Jason Wiles has boarded ABC's drama pilot "Boston's Finest," and Jayne Houdyshell and Joe Nunez have been added to Fox's comedy pilot "Wilde Kingdom."
Additionally, Vinnie Jones, repped by APA and Elevate, has booked a guest-starring and potential recurring role in the NBC drama pilot "The Cape," and Gabriel Morales, repped by Coast to Coast and the Marshak/Zachary Co., has joined ABC's comedy pilot "It Takes a Village."
At the CW, "Veronica Mars" alumna Tessa Thompson has joined "Betwixt"; former beauty queen Amber Seyer, managed by Bob McGowan, has boarded the Wyoming project; Elevate-repped Gabriella Wright has been cast in "Nomads"; and Matt Barr, repped by Luber Roklin and Pakula/King, has been added to "Hellcats."
"Couples" revolves around three couples and centers on Dave and Julia (Woods), who have a great marriage but must work hard to get an anniversary night to themselves without their crazy friends/relatives interfering.
For Woods, "Couples" is in second position to the freshman ABC drama "FlashForward," on which she plays FBI agent Janis Hawk. She is repped by Abrams Artists and attorney Melissa Rogal.
On the fraternity comedy "Daze," Polo, repped by Gersh and Bob McGowan, will play an English professor. She also is set to star opposite James Denton in the Lea Thompson-directed feature "Damaged Goods," which begins filming in June.
"Finest" centers on Julia (Katee Sackhoff), a detective who teams with disgraced ex-cop Angus (Goran Visnjic) to solve crimes and untangle the conspiracy that sent him underground. Wiles, repped by Paradigm and Brillstein, will play Julia's boyfriend, who forms a love triangle with her and Angus. Wiles next appears on the NBC series "Persons Unknown."
"Wilde" stars Will Arnett as Steven, a Beverly Hills jackass who falls in love with Emmy (Keri Russell), a charitable, tree-hugging woman who can't stand his lifestyle and values. Houdyshell ("The Bounty Hunter") will play Steven's former nanny, now his head of security. The TalentWorks-repped Nunez ("Superbad") will play Steven's friend and yes man.

Also cast in the pilot is Stefania Owen as Emmy's daughter.
