Flavor Flav Presents the Weather in Utah

“I’m not really a weather person, I’m a rapper.”

Flavor Flav: rapper, reality TV star, party animal and … weather guy?

The Public Enemy co-founder dropped in on Fox 13’s Good Day Utah to present the weather forecast for Salt Lake City and capital’s surrounding areas.

The artist, whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr., was in the area to visit his brother, an athletic director at a local school. Flav started fine in his TV news stint — "I'm really here, you know what I'm sayin'? To bring y'all the weather, not only for the good but for the better” — but he lost a little steam, mispronounced Elko (“hello hello hello”) and dropped a few too many, “You know what I’m sayin'?"

He 'fessed up for those who didn’t already know: “I’m not really a weather person, I’m a rapper.”

Flavor Flav and his fellow Public Enemy bandmates were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. It’s safe to assume he won’t be pursuing a career in meteorology.
