FMNA's Donna Redier Linsk Joins Telepictures, Reunites With Mike Darnell
The former FremantleMedia North America COO will serve as exec vp business operations and programming.
Eight months after exiting FremantleMedia North America, Donna Redier Linsk has lined up a new gig.
The former FMNA COO has been tapped as exec vp business operations and programming for Telepictures, reporting directly to Mike Darnell.
In her new position, Redier Linsk will be responsible for all finance, business and legal affairs, production, operations, administration and current programming matters related to Telepictures' original TV series and digital content. She'll also manage Telepictures' business and operational staff.
The new gig reunites Redier Linsk with Darnell; they previously worked together while Darnell oversaw reality for Fox.
"I feel incredibly lucky that Donna has decided to join the Telepictures team. She has been a trusted adviser to me for many years, and I could not be more excited to have her here," said Darnell, who serves as president of Warner Bros. unscripted and alternative television.
Redier Linsk exited FMNA in July, opting not to renew her contract with the company. She segued into a role as a consultant at American Idol, a position she held until December. She had been with FMNA since 2009, overseeing finance, production, legal and business affairs for series including American Idol, America's Got Talent, The X Factor, Let's Make a Deal and more.
Before that, she worked with Darnell at Fox from 2004-09, serving as senior vp business affairs and alternative production. Before that, she oversaw business and legal affairs for alternative programming at Fox Television Studios.
Redier Linsk joins Telepictures as the company is producing eight series for the 2013-14 TV season: The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Bethenny, TMZ, TMZ Live, Extra, Judge Mathis, The People’s Court and Let’s Ask America as well as a talk show, The Real, which will launch in national syndication in fall 2014.
