Academy Award-winning actors Anthony Hopkins, Ben Kingsley and Charlize Theron and Oscar-nominated director Mike Newell will be spotlighted at the CineVegas Film Festival Honorees Reception on June 15 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Festival artistic director Trevor Groth announced the presentation of several awards to the group: the Marquee Award for Hopkins, the Vanguard Actor Award for Kingsley, the Half-life Award for Theron and the Vanguard Director Award for Newell.

"We are incredibly blessed to gather such talent in one spot for the purpose of recognizing their collective work," Groth said. "The excitement of Sir Anthony Hopkins, Sir Ben Kingsley, Mike Newell and Charlize Theron coming together at this year's CineVegas will truly be a weekend, a year, to remember."

The festival, now in its ninth year, begins June 6 and closes June 16 with "You Kill Me." The John Dahl thriller stars Kingsley as an alcoholic hitman who relocates to California, takes a job in a mortuary and falls in love with the stepdaughter (Tea Leoni) of one of his "clients." The film also stars Luke Wilson and Bill Pullman.
