Four more in quest for 'Truth'
EmptyRicky Gervais continues to line up an eclectic cast for his comedy "This Side of the Truth" from Warner Bros.
Tina Fey, Christopher Guest, Jeffrey Tambor and John Hodgman have joined Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Jonah Hill and Louis C.K. in the movie, which Gervais is directing and co-writing with Matt Robinson.
Set in a world in which the concept of lying doesn't exist, the story centers on a loser (Gervais) who changes his lot when he invents lying and uses it to get ahead.
The project is a co-production of Warner Bros. Pictures and Media Rights Capital. Lynda Obst, Oliver Obst and Dan Lin are producing. Greg Silverman is overseeing for Warners.
Fey, repped by Endeavor and 3 Arts, is the star of NBC's "30 Rock."
UTA-repped Guest is the writer-director behind the film comedies "Best in Show" and "A Mighty Wind."
Tambor, repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, next will appear in "Superhero Movie," which opens March 28.
UTA-repped Hodgman is a "Daily Show With Jon Stewart" correspondent.
