Fourth Wall Studios Co-Founder Sean Stewart to Deliver Keynote in British Capital
Stewart is booked to speak at the Power to the Pixel annual cross-media forum which takes place during the BFI London Film Festival.
LONDON – U.S.-based Fourth Wall Studios co-founder and head writer Sean Stewart is scheduled to deliver the keynote at the opening of Power to the Pixel’s (PttP) annual Cross-Media Forum which takes place during the BFI London International Film Festival.
Stewart and his Fourth Wall Studios won an Emmy in interactive media for Dirty Work, his resume also boasts creating story worlds around The Dark Knight and Halo franchises.
He will deliver "Storytelling V: The Audience Strikes Back" focusing on the changing relationship between author and audience and how it is transforming the art of storytelling.
PttP CEO Liz Rosenthal described Stewart as "a prolific and innovative force within the cross-media industry" and said it was a "real coup to have him kick off this year’s event."
Other speakers at this year’s conference, taking place on Oct. 16, include Tribeca Film Institute’s Ingrid Kopp and Egmont Press’ Cally Poplak and Tim Jones, who will talk about their soon-to-be-released multimedia interactive app of War Horse.
Also on hand will be Lance Weiler who will close the conference with the largest live story collaboration ever attempted.
Power to the Pixel’s (PttP) annual Cross-Media Forum runs Oct. 16-19.
The sixth annual Cross-Media Forum, held in association with the BFI London Film Festival, will take place at the BFI’s National Film Theatre on London’s South Bank.
It is supported by the MEDIA Program of the European Union with additional support from the BFI, Arts Council England, Creative Skillset’s Film Skills Fund, Canada Media Fund, ARTE, Creative Industries KTN, Telefilm Canada, beActive, Tribeca Film Institute, Cinekid and Mozilla.
