Kevin Reilly calls the longtime marketing executive a team builder, who is credited with the “So Fox” branding campaign and helping launch Glee, New Girl and X Factor.

Joe Earley, who joined Fox Broadcasting 18 years ago as a publicist and has risen through the ranks in marketing and communications, on Wednesday was named Chief Operating Officer of the network, reporting to Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“Joe is not only an inspired and creative marketing strategist, but he should own the patent on the concept of ‘team builder,’” said Reilly. “He is a dynamic leader who inspires partnership and a sense of collective purpose across our entire company.”
