Fox greenlights Ron Howard pilot
Workplace comedy is set at an IRS officeRon Howard's IRS comedy is going to pilot.
Fox on Wednesday handed a pilot order to the untitled half-hour from 20th TV and Imagine TV.
Brent Forrester ("The Office") penned the project, a workplace comedy set at an Internal Revenue Service district office, which stems from an idea Howard had been toying with for years.
Forrester and Howard are executive producing with Brian Grazer and David Nevins.
It marks Howard's first passion series project since the Emmy-winning "Arrested Development."
