Fox Promotes Mike Dunn to President of Product Strategy, Consumer Business Development
Dunn previously served as president of home entertainment worldwide and a director of the Fox Innovation Lab.
Mike Dunn, currently Fox's president of home entertainment, has been promoted to the newly created position of president of product strategy and consumer business development at 20th Century Fox.
In his new role, Dunn will lead cross-functional consumer business development and product strategy around new business initiatives, emerging media platforms, distribution models, partnerships with leading CE and technology companies and opportunities with international markets.
As a director of the Fox Innovation Lab, which launched in 2014, Dunn has spent the last few years helping the studio look forward on how content and entertainment will intersect with technology, whether through new technology like VR and AR or emerging distribution models. His position will bring this progressive strategy and collaboration process company-wide. He will also continue to oversee the worldwide home entertainment division.
"Mike has been an industry leader helping to ensure Fox is driving the development of innovative technology and new consumer experiences across all formats and distribution models," says Stacey Snider, Fox chairman and CEO. "I am confident that elevating him into this newly created role will further our position as a global leader in the new media landscape."
Dunn also serves as chair of The Digital Entertainment Group's board of directors.
