Fox Reality getting Amp'd
EmptyFox Reality is taking its unscripted programming to the wireless platform through a partnership with Amp'd Mobile.
Through the deal, the reality network will provide Amp'd subscribers up to four hours of content per day in the form of clips, interviews and news updates from such shows as "Reality Remix," "Solitary 2.0," "Rob & Amber: Against the Odds" and the upcoming "The Academy." The service is slated for launch April 16.
It is the network's first foray into the mobile space. Fox Reality launched in May 2005.
"News, sports and weather have already quickly established themselves as programming staples for the mobile generation, and now reality content is fast on their heels as the next progressive genre," said Ed Skolarus, Fox Reality vp business and operations. "Our fans ultimately demand their reality fix anytime, anyhow and any place they want it."
