Fox shifts 'Canterbury' to Friday
EmptyTwo weeks after its debut, Fox is moving the legal drama "Canterbury's Law" from Monday nights to Friday.
Starting next week, "Canterbury's" will be replaced by repeats of "House."
For its March 10 debut at 8 p.m., "Canterbury" had a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49, Fox's lowest-rated premiere ever in the time period. This week, "Canterbury" was flat. The series now will air at 9 p.m. Fridays.
Fox's midseason scripted dramas "Canterbury" and "New Amsterdam" originally were scheduled for Friday, but Fox moved them to a more visible time period when the WGA strike made scripted programming a scarce commodity.
"Amsterdam" has held up better than "Canterbury," averaging a 2.4, but still has come in fourth place for the hour.
