Fox's Paul Hanneman and Tomas Jegeus to be Honored at CineEurope
The cinema convention will run from June 22-25 in Barcelona, Spain.
Twentieth Century Fox's Paul Hanneman and Tomas Jegeus will be presented with the 2015 Global Distributors of the Year Award at CineEurope on June 25, it was announced on Thursday.
The awards ceremony will take place at Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, on the last day of the CineEurope cinema convention, which will run from June 22-25, 2015.
Hanneman and Jegeus were both named co-presidents of worldwide theatrical marketing and distribution at Twentieth Century Fox in late 2013, leading the studio to experience its highest-grossing global box office year to date just one year later with 2014 hits such as The Grand Budapest Hotel, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Birdman.
"There are no finer gentlemen in the movie industry than Paul and Tomas. They are professional, fair and available to their co-workers at all times. Since taking on the responsibilities as co-presidents of Fox International — and now as heads of Fox's global theatrical marketing and distribution — they have set the bar at CineEurope for their innovative marketing presentations as well as their fantastic themed events," Robert Sunshine, co-managing director of CineEurope announced. "We are so delighted to have the opportunity to honor Paul and Tomas for their accomplishments in leading Fox to the industry’s highest grossing year ever in 2014."
CineEurope is produced by Prometheus Global Media, owner of entertainment publications including The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Adweek and Film Journal International and entertainment events such as Dick Clark Productions, the CLIO Awards, ShowEast and CineAsia.
