France Televisions, Orange ink VOD deal
EmptyPARIS -- French public TV giant France Televisions has signed a new VOD deal with Gallic telecommunications operator Orange, the companies announced Monday.
The deal allows Orange subscribers to view programs from the France Televisions Group channels including France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 and France O via TV, their home computers or in mobile formats.
The new multiyear VOD partnership aims to make magazine and entertainment shows available for seven days from the time of broadcasting and "stock" programs (series, soaps and documentaries, not including films) available for seven to 30 days.
The service will be available to Orange subscribers at the end of the year and France Televisions will continue to offer its content on its Web site, francetvod.fr.
