Frankie Muniz tweets response to Shia LaBeouf
Calls LeBoeuf's ongoing public criticism of him 'creepy'
Frankie Muniz has responded to Shia LaBeouf's recent criticism about the former "Malcolm in the Middle" star over Twitter, the New York Daily News reported.
Appearing on Atlanta's "The Bert Show," LaBeouf was asked about his box-office success.
"While that's flattering as hell, you could have put Frankie Muniz into any of the movies I've been in and those movies still would've still been No. 1," replied LaBeouf, currently onscreen in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
LaBeouf also took another shot at Muniz, who hasn't been onscreen since 2008's "Extreme Movie," when asked if he was concerned about running into Muniz at a social event.
"I don't go to many parties ... and I really don't hang out in Frankie Muniz-type zones," LaBeouf replied.
In response, Muniz tweeted: "Dear Shia Labeouf. It's getting creepy the fact that you can't stop talking about me. It's been 12 years now. I don't know you. Thanks."
As the Daily News points out, it's not the first time LaBeouf has dissed Muniz. In 2003, he talked to Entertainment Weekly about how the media liked to compare the two.

"I used to see him at premieres and stuff and it would always be like he was looking down on me," he said. "And then it turned into we're equal, and then it turned into 'Oh Frankie? I know that guy.' "
