FremantleMedia Promotes Rob Clark to Director, Global Entertainment Development

Acting president of worldwide entertainment Trish Kinane officially named president.
LONDON -- Global entertainment producer FremantleMedia has promoted Rob Clark to the newly created position of director of global entertainment development, giving him oversight of Fremantle’s efforts to boost its format catalog.
Trish Kinane, who has been acting president, worldwide entertainment, will now take on the post of president, worldwide entertainment, reporting to Gary Carter, COO, FremantleMedia. The appointments are based in London.
Clark, who was previously FremantleMedia’s President of Worldwide Entertainment, will now drive efforts to create and acquire international entertainment formats and work with Fremantle’s territory executives to be responsible for format developments.
Clark joined FremantleMedia’s Worldwide Entertainment division in 2003 and has managed a number of the company’s most successful global rollouts including Got Talent, The X Factor, The Farmer Wants a Wife, The Apprentice, Hole in the Wall, Let’s Dance, and Take Me Out as well as the Idol franchise.
Clark has also helped in the re-launch of the Goodson back catalog of game shows including Family Feud, Password and Price is Right.
