Fulton tapped DAVE Nets social chief

IPTV provider DAVE Networks has appointed experienced TV executive Douglas Fulton as president of entertainment, the company said. Fulton will be in charge of establishing and managing relationships with studios, TV networks, record labels and content providers for the IPTV social broadcast network.

"With an array of upcoming content deals in the pipeline, Fulton's expertise and success in the industry will aid in the facilitation and development of new channels and partnerships," said Rex Wong, CEO of DAVE Networks, adding that Fulton will help the network reach more viewers with the ability to offer a wider variety of mainstream content and entertainment choices.

Fulton also will manage the content licensing rights, agreements and entertainment offerings through the DAVE.TV social broadcast network.

Prior to his appointment, he served as executive vp at ethnic television network Jump TV in Europe and Canada and as senior vp at SBS Broadcasting S.A., Europe.
