Funny or Die Mocks Uber Rape Allegations in New Video

"By hiring only rapists we eliminate all of the guesswork as to whether or not you're safe on your Uber ride — you're definitely not."

Funny or Die has released a new video mocking Uber's habit of releasing half-hearted apologies for everything from sexual assault allegations against their drivers to surge pricing during emergencies like the Sydney hostage crisis.

In addition to those two issues, the clip tackles tech sexism, Uber and Lyft's rivalry, and Uber's comments about digging up dirt on critical journalists.

The video offers satirical solutions to dealing with these problems such as hiring a woman representative to speak ("Thanks, Female"), killing Lyft drivers with a 10-inch blade, and providing surge pricing on September 11th. Also, the "Uber rep" says the company is going to "make absolutely sure" that all drivers are convicted rapists.
