Music TV network Fuse has tapped TV One executive Brad Samuels to lead a content distribution team that will include new hires Guy Cacciarelli and Peter Tulloch.

As executive vp, Samuels will lead Fuse's newly established content distribution department, which is responsible for serving and expanding affiliate relations, identifying and distributing content across multiple platforms, and pursuing international distribution and business development opportunities.

In addition, the team will handle all affiliate sales and marketing functions for MSG and the newly branded MSG Plus (formerly FSNY).

Cacciarelli and Tulloch each will take the title of vp content distribution -- Cacciarelli for the Western region and Tulloch for the Eastern region -- at Fuse, which is a division of Cablevision's Madison Square Garden.

"With the variety of platforms available to consumers, distribution now expands beyond traditional affiliate relations," said Fuse president Eric Sherman, to whom Samuels will report. "When Fuse transitioned from Rainbow to MSG, we had the opportunity to take a fresh look at the structure of the department and how a growing network like Fuse should approach content distribution."

Before joining Fuse, Samuels was executive vp affiliate sales and marketing at TV One. Before that, he was executive vp affiliate relations at Comedy Central, where he worked for 10 years.

Cacciarelli is a 16-year MTV Networks veteran, having most recently served as senior director of sales. Tulloch was the regional director of product management for Comcast's fourth-largest operating region, Philadelphia.
