FX Lands 'Minions,' 'Ted 2,' 'Terminator: Genisys'

FX continues to bolster its movie lineup.
The cabler announced Tuesday that has acquired U.S. commercial TV premiere rights to Minions as well as Ted 2 and Terminator: Genisys.
The news comes after Minions scored the second-biggest opening weekend ever for an animated feature, with a $115 million domestic haul.
The trio of films are the latest acquisitions for FX after the cabler also recently picked up rights to Jurassic World, Furious 7, Pitch Perfect 2, Taken 3, Home and Kingsman.
Last year, FX licensed 67 percent of all the year's features that grossed more than $100 million at the box office.
