Gallic Gift Swag At France's Cesar Awards
DPA's annual gift suite attracted French film talent including Cesar winner Omar Sy, Karin Viard, Zoe Felix and Clovis Cornillac.
PARIS - While this Friday’s Cesar awards featured films about child molestation, infant disease, prostitution and political drama, the French film biz took time out for some fun at DPA’s annual celeb gift suite in Paris.
The suite is organized by Nathalie Dubois’ DPA, an entertainment marketing strategy company that organizes gift suites around global entertainment events including the Oscars, the Emmys, the Golden Globes, the Cesar awards, the Monte-Carlo TV festival and the Dubai Film Festival. Dubois rounds up luxury and everyday brands, throws them together in a swank hotel and invites her celebrity friends for a tour.
A-list French talent including Best Actor Cesar winner Untouchable star Omar Sy, Clovis Cornillac, Alice Taglioni, Gerard Jugnot, Josiane Balasko, Zoe Felix, Julie Ferrier, Most Promising Actress winner Naidra Ayadi and Best Actress nominee Karin Viard enjoyed the gift suite swag at Paris' Hotel Napoleon before Friday's awards ceremony.
Festival de Cannes partner Renault was present with their new Twizy electric car that will rev the red carpet at this year’s festival. In addition to the ecologically-friendly cars, the suite was painted green with Lush natural cosmetics, Lov Organic teas and Keimling on site with Vita-mix blenders whipping up green smoothies in wine glasses and healthy snacks for passing talent. The suite offered a welcome refuge from the Parisian chill of winter with sandals from Havaianas, jewelry from Tahitian designer Tahizea, trips from Le Tahaa Island and spa and the St Regis Bora Bora, plus Marchon sunglasses from Fendi, Lacoste and Valentino. The suite also provided relief from death by high-heeled shoes with Red Carpet's padded insoles, funky pillows from Teo Jasmin for post-Cesar awards relaxation and soothing body lotions and scents from La Sultane de Saba after a night of dancing with the Academy.
