The gang's all here
EmptyHBO launched the second half of "Entourage's" third season with a bash that would have made the series' central characters -- Ari, Eric, Johnny Drama, Turtle and Vince -- feel right at home.
Following Thursday's premiere of the hit comedy series at the ArcLight's Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, guests strolled over to a warehouse space on nearby Ivar Street that had been transformed into a lavish penthouse club for a Brent Bolthouse-produced bash. Inside the party, guests ogled beauties in a hot tub, took pictures with a "Viking Quest " background, played video golf and ate dessert on the set of Drama's kitchen.
So, what's the best part of part of being in a real entourage? "Going to work is basically like hanging out with your friends every week," creator/writer/executive producer Doug Ellin said.
Executive producer Mark Wahlberg -- whose own success story is said to have inspired the series -- also was on hand for the festivities. "These guys are on a roll. They're taking it to a level that even I didn't expect," he said, adding with a laugh: "They don't take my phone calls or suggestions anymore."
