Noriko Gee has been promoted to director of programming planning and scheduling at CBS.

In her new position, Gee will continue to be responsible for scheduling primetime series, specials and movies for CBS and to contribute to the planning of the CW's schedule. She reports to CBS senior executive vp programming operations Kelly Kahl.

Gee most recently was manager of program planning and scheduling and played a role in the network's scheduling move of "The Amazing Race" and "Without a Trace" to Sundays. She began her career in CBS' research department in 2001 and moved to the scheduling department in 2003 as a coordinator.
