GEG joining cabinet for Stone's 'W'

Global Entertainment Group will join Hong Kong-based Emperor Motion Pictures, U.K.-based Aramid and QED to invest in Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic "W," the company said Tuesday.

This will be the beginning of a deal-by-deal co-financing agreement between GEG and Hollywood-based financing and production company QED, GEG CEO Johnny Hon said.

GEG will push for two Hong Kong actresses — Maria Chen and Elena Kong — signed under its talent management subsidiary Morpheus Entertainment Management for roles in "W," but the decision lies with Stone, Hon said. (partialdiff)
