Genthert in play as TNR's CFO
EmptyTNR Entertainment on Monday named former Walt Disney Co. finance executive Robert Genthert CFO of the DVD rental kiosk company.
Genthert's more than 20 years' of finance experience include an 11-year tenure at Disney, where he most recently was vp worldwide finance at Buena Vista Home Entertainment. He subsequently also served as CFO of Warner Bros. Online.
"Bob's broad mix of experience in home entertainment, finance and accounting in diverse applications makes him extraordinarily valuable as we continue on our accelerated growth path," TNR CEO Richard Cohen said.
Genthert will be responsible for all of TNR's finance, reporting and accounting activities, including funding to further support the company's expanding network of grocery store partnerships and penetration of new markets across the country. He also will serve as part of a senior management group responsible for overall company strategy, officials said.
