George Clooney Advises Brad Pitt to Try Dinner Theater, Discusses His Rival's Looks (Exclusive Video)
"Can you make me look younger than Brad Pitt?" the actor joked with THR during a photo shoot at his Studio City home Feb. 7. Watch the behind-the-scenes video.
George Clooney may have cultivated a man-about-town public persona, but, when he sat down with THR's executive editor, features, Stephen Galloway, a very different image emerged.
During his cover photo shoot, the actor, who is nominated for Academy Awards for his work on both The Descendants and The Ides of March, answered a few questions while letting THR hang at his Studio City home Feb. 7.

The joking rivalry he has with fellow Oscar nominee Brad Pitt, was still going strong during the shoot. According to Clooney, he believes Pitt could have a strong future in dinner theater.
When asked if there are directors he'd say yes to working with no script needed, the actor admitted it's a select few, mostly former colleagues, including: Steven Soderbergh (Ocean's Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen), Jason Reitman (Up In The Air), Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton)

"Just straight up 'Let's work together, I don't have a script'? Not many, there aren't many," he admitted. As for his early on-screen influences, Clooney says there's one actor who really stands out.
"If you watch Montgomery Clift in A Place in the Sun, that's as good as you'll ever get," he told THR.
His favorite movie-making experience should come as no surprist. "The Ocean's films were pretty fun, I hate to say it, but they were," he admits. And believe the prankster rumors. "Don Cheadle's pretty evil, Brad's pretty evil, Matt [Damon'] not the kindest person you've ever met. There were some dark things going on," he joked.
