George Clooney Talks Warner Bros. 2012 Release 'Gravity' (Video)
In an conversation with THR chief film critic Todd McCarthy, the "Ides of March" and "The Descendants" actor reveals details about his upcoming space film co-starring Sandra Bullock.
George Clooney has two films opening just in time for awards season. The Ides of March, a political thriller co-starring Ryan Gosling, and The Descendants, about a man trying ot reconnect with his estranged daughters.

But, when the actor-director sat down with The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy at the Telluride Film Festival, talk turned to another of his upcoming films, Gravity (due in theaters November 12, 2012).

"Well, I don't want to spoil it for you ... everyone dies," Clooney joked of the picture, directed by Alfonso Cuaron.

The film, set in outer space, tells the tale of a lone survivor of an ill-fated mission to repair the Hubble telescope, and his quest to return to Earth. And, the actor tells THR he has high hopes for its success.
"It's just a beautiful story, and it's really well done. And, I hope it ends up being a great film. Visually, I haven't seen anything like it in my life."
He also had kind words to say about his co-star, Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock. "It's Sandy Bullock, who I love, who I've been friends with for 25 years, and it's she and I floating in space."
