The investment in the L.A.-based online platform follows a deal earlier this year by ProSieben to acquire 20 percent of MCN Collective Digital Studio.

Continuing its expansion into online media, German broadcasting giant ProSiebenSat.1 has taken an equity stake in Talenthouse, the L.A.-based group behind artist networking platform Talenthouse.com.

Under the deal, which ProSieben announced Thursday, ProSieben’s subsidiary Starwatch Entertainment will take a minority stake in Talenthouse with the aim of launching a version of the networking platform in Germany.

Earlier this year, ProSiebenSat.1’s production and sales arm Red Arrow took a 20 percent stake in U.S. Multi-Channel Network Collective Digital Studio. The company already owns numerous international produciton companies, including Fabrik Entertainment, producers of upcoming series Bosch for Amazon and Odyssey for NBC; and factual shingle Half Yard Productions (Say Yes to the Dress).
