Germany’s SevenOne Boards Lifetime’s Royal Wedding TV Movie 'William and Kate'
Lifetime is pushing to complete the movie before the actual royal wedding April 29.
COLOGNE, Germany -- SevenOne International, the production/sales arm of European broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1, has boarded Lifetime's TV movie William and Kate about the royal couple-to-be Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The movie, which Lifetime is pushing to complete before the actual royal wedding April 29, will star New Zealand actor Nico Evers-Swindell as William and has British actress Camilla Luddington attached as Kate, the upper crust commoner who finds her prince. Ben Cross will play William's father, Prince Charles.
SevenOne has taken on world sales outside the U.S. for William and Kate. The live wedding broadcast will be one of the most-watched TV events of all time. Estimates put the potential global audience at around 2.5 billion.
