Gersh taps Joan Harrison

Former producer/network exec joining alternative division

Talent and literary agency Gersh has tapped producer and network executive Joan Harrison to join the agency's alternative programming division.

Harrison is joining Gersh from Stone & Co., where she was senior vp programming. Harrison also was vp programming and development at TLC and Travel Channel and worked at Broder (now part of ICM) as a literary agent.

At Stone, Harrison worked on such shows as Bravo's "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style," ABC's "The Mole" and Travel's "1,000 Places to See Before You Die."

Harrison reports to Bob Gersh and will work with Todd Christopher, head of alternative, on unscripted deals for Gersh clients.
