Gillian Bohrer Departing Lionsgate as Co-President of Production
Her exit follows a promotion in June 2015.
Lionsgate co-president of film production Gillian Bohrer is leaving the studio, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Thursday.
She was upped from executive vp production and development to co-president, alongside Bobby Cohen, in June 2015 as part of a series of promotions at the film group.
Her departure leaves Cohen, Summit Entertainment president of production Geoff Shaevitz and Lionsgate Motion Picture Group president of production Mike Paseornek all reporting to Erik Feig, co-president of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group.
Bohrer had been an executive on many of Summit and Lionsgate's recent hits, including Warm Bodies and the YA franchise Divergent.
She also shepherded Whiplash director Damien Chazelle’s upcoming musical comedy drama La La Land.
While at Summit, before it was acquired by Lionsgate, Bohrer also oversaw the hugely successful Twilight franchise.
