This is the first shot of me in the amazing Oscar dress!! When I went into the fitting during my lunch break while on set, the designer, Manon Gabard, went straight to work like a pro!! Manon is a fashion student at ESMOD in Paris and won the competition. I want to keep her here with me in L.A. so she can design more incredible dresses for me!! Who woulda thunk sustainable clothing could be this fly?
Here it’s sinking in that this dress is being made for me, and I’m going to be wearing it to the Oscars!!! Got to love firsts!
Casper’s always had a shoe problem. You should see his closet!

While Manon contends with detailing on the back of the dress, I just can’t stop looking at its incredible shade of blue. The inspiration was a jellyfish, so clever and fabulous!
Pins, pins and more pins! That’s what it takes to get the perfect fit!
I love jewelry!! Stylist Nola Singer gathered an amazing selection and looking through these beauties was definitely a highlight for me! You think they’ll notice if one is missing? Just kidding ...
I think I tried almost every piece on, but I won’t tell you which ones I selected. If you’re watching the preshow you’ll see!!
These feel delicious on my ears!
It was lovely to meet Suzy Amis Cameron! She’s incredibly inspiring and I feel truly honored to be a part of her campaign, Red Carpet Green Dress.
The final moments of the fitting … this amazing team is about to dive in and turn this gown of 100 percent certified organic peace silk into the dress of my dreams!!! Think they’ll let me keep it?
