Ginnifer Goodwin Takes Legal Action to Protect Her Hair
The actress can keep her short coif and "slip on a wig" for roles.
Big Love’s Ginnifer Goodwin is taking great lengths to protect her hair. Recently debuting a shorter pixie coif with shaved sides, the actress revealed that she and her lawyer have started writing "wig clauses" into her contracts, according to People.com.
Goodwin said that Big Love (currently airing its final season) and HBO “owned every hair on [her] head,” and she was tired of having to consult with the show before making trips to the salon.
With the addition of the clause, slipping into a wig for future roles may just be the perfect way for Goodwin to balance her personal and professional life. "As long as I can wear a wig, I can be any character and in real life I can be myself," she explains.
