Global Screen Locks Up Deals for 'The Heineken Kidnapping', 'I, Anna'

New German sales giant reports strong Berlin sales.
COLOGNE, Germany -- New sales group Global Screen, the joint venture between German sales groups Telepool and Bavaria Media, closed a number of sales in the wake of this year's European Film Market in Berlin, including a domestic deal for Rutger Hauer-starrer The Heineken Killing, which went to MPI Media for North America.
Brit drama I, Anna, starring Charlotte Rampling, was a also a strong seller for Global Screen, with deals for Sweden (TriArt) and Australia (Transmission Films).
Other titles posting multiple sales included animated family entertainment films Oops! Noah Is Gone and Niko 2.
