While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille award on behalf of her dear friend, filmmaker Woody AllenDiane Keaton took to the stage sporting silver locks.

The look is a fresh take for Keaton, who is most often recognized with a blonde or brunette mane. The legendary actor and L'Oreal spokeswoman took her beauty statement one step further with nail art, by celebrity manicurist Lisa Jachno of labnails, that matched her Ralph Lauren velvet tux.

Word on the street is that Keaton's silver streaks are for a role in the upcoming Life Itself. Whatever the reason, this seems to be the first time Annie Hall herself has made a major public appearance with the technically non-hue hue.
