Zendaya, Jaimie Alexander and Gina Rodriguez ruled the red carpet in vibrant tones.

Awards season officially kicked into high gear on Sunday with the Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton, and the red carpet's display of color did not disappoint.

Radiant in emerald green, NBC's Blindspot star Jaimie Alexander lit up the red carpet in a patchwork gown by Italian designer Genny, with a navel-grazing plunging neckline.

Golden Globe nominee Gina Rodriguez, who is nominated for best actress in a TV comedy or musical for her role in Jane the Virgin, wore a deep blue, shoulder-baring Zac Posen gown accentuated with Neil Lane jewels.

And Zendaya, who turned heads earlier this week with her new bangs, stood out in a burgundy tiered Marchesa gown. "It’s my first time at the Golden Globes," the actress and singer told E! host Ryan Seacrest in a red-carpet interview. "This is a fairy-tale moment right now."
