Angels have descended on Beverly Hills.

Jewel-tone dresses and metallic gold gowns were outnumbered by one classic color at this year's Golden Globe Awards: elegant bridal white.

Swedish actress Alicia Vikander was a vision in Louis Vuitton (a natural choice, considering she was the face of the French fashion house's spring campaign), while Cinderella actress Lily James was glowing in an asymmetrically cut Marchesa stunner.

Saoirse Ronan was goddess-like in a draped white dress, also by Saint Laurent couture, and Laverne Cox added a pop of color to her white Elizabeth Kennedy dress with emerald Lorraine Schwartz jewels
