These Golden Globes Guys Have the Most Luscious Locks in the Game
We want to run our fingers through Eddie Redmayne, Chris Pratt and John Krasinski's hair — men, take notes
Plenty of starlets channeled old-school glamour at Sunday's Golden Globes, and it seemed some guys wanted in on the action. Chris Pratt, Eddie Redmayne and John Krasinski were just a few of the dudes whose hairstyling felt retro with a modern twist.
"For Chris, he had a suit and bow tie on, and I thought he needed to be a little more classic-Hollywood handsome," says Bridget Brager, who styled his "really nice hair" for the awards. She calls the part-free version of a crew cut a modern take on a throwback style that "opens his face up. I wanted him to look long and lean," she adds.
Pushed up and away from the forehead with a bit of volume and semigloss shine, the 'do is universally flattering and showed off these lucky men's thick, healthy manes. Kit Harington, Adrian Grenier and Joshua Jackson were also among those flaunting their not-even-close-to-receding hairlines. Says Brager, "it wouldn't look as great if the hair was just down on their faces."
For this look, Brager says she "started by using a very small amount of Bumble and Bumble Thickening Mousse on Chris' wet hair to add some body and grip, then I blew it in, using my fingers to create texture but not let it get curly." Afterward, she added Bumble and Bumble's Sumotech to the lengths of his hair for hold and separation, "tapping down the edges so it was clean and looked very well-groomed."
