Golden Globes Hair: Stars Take the (Hair) Plunge
Deep side parts spice up soft and wavy hair at the Golden Globes
Perhaps as a preemptive strike against the rainy weather, a majority of celebrities are sporting natural looking, easy hair, spiced up for the red carpet with a deep side part for appropriate and expected drama.
“A side part has that Old Hollywood feel, but more modern, fashion forward and sexy,” says celebrity hairstylist Paul Norton, who gave Rodriguez her cascading waves with side part.
“A deep side part changes the body language of a woman, it’s sexy and mysterious. A middle part feels powerful; a side part has drama.”
The long and loose hair is a refreshing departure from chignons and updos, which run the risk of deflating quickly given the unpredictable weather.
