Golden Globes: Tina Fey Says "Oh Heck Yes" to Bill Cosby Jokes at Sunday's Show
Though attending celebrities need not fear Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's jokes, Bill Cosby can expect a public poke
Tina Fey confirmed one individual who's not included on the joke-exemption list for Sunday night's Golden Globes: Bill Cosby.
At Wednesday's Television Critics Association winter press tour, Fey told Access Hollywood that celebrities attending the show need not fear. "Amy and I have always said that the idea [is] that we don't want anyone attending to be scared to be there because of us," Fey said. "It's a party and it's — in the grand scheme of the world, it couldn't be less important, and I think that's what makes it fun."
But Fey commented on a particular celebrity that could be the butt of the comedians' jokes. When asked about the possibility of Cosby's name being poked, Fey replied, "Oh heck yes!"
Cosby has been under fire since November 2014 when 15 women came forward with claims that he sexually assaulted them decades ago. Most of the women say he drugged them before he assaulted them.
The brunette and her blond co-host Amy Poehler will take the stage as co-hosts for the third consecutive year and will be joined by an extensive, star-studded list of presenters including Amy Adams, Anna Faris, Salma Hayek, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lily Tomlin, Kristen Wiig, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Robert Downey Jr., Ricky Gervais, Channing Tatum, Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston and Matthew McConaughey, among others.
Tune in to NBC on Sunday night at 5 p.m. PT to catch the show — and at least one Cosby joke.
