Universal, Fox Top Golden Trailer Awards Nominees

'The Huntsman: Winter's War'

The 17th annual awards will take place on May 4 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.

Universal Pictures leads the nominations for the Golden Trailer Awards, highlighting the best in motion picture and television marketing, it was announced Friday by GTA executive director Evelyn Watters.

The studio's combined total of 46 mentions (including Focus Features) includes The Huntsman: Winter’s War, Hail! Caesar, Steve Jobs, Straight Outta Compton and The Secret Life of Pets. Fox (which includes Fox Searchlight) follows with 44 noms, including Deadpool, The Martian and The Revenant. Warner Bros. (which includes subsidiaries including New Line Cinema) scored 37 noms, Disney (which includes Marvel Studios and other companies) tallied 36 and Lionsgate collected 34.

The most nominated trailer house is Trailer Park with 28 mentions. On the agency side, LA leads the nominations for their work on 32 of this year’s print nominees.

The 17th annual awards will take place on May 4 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.
