'Gone Girl' Star Rosamund Pike Signs With CAA (Exclusive)
The British star quietly joined the agency several months ago after leaving UTA last August.
Gone Girl star Rosamund Pike has signed with CAA in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. The agency previously represented her only for commercial opportunities.
The British actress exited UTA last August, becoming the fourth actor repped by Magnolia Entertainment manager Shelley Browning to do so. Rachel McAdams left the agency in April and eventually signed with WME, while Swedish actors Joel Kinnaman and Noomi Rapace, like Pike, joined CAA.
In October Pike will appear as the titular missing wife opposite Ben Affleck in Gone Girl, David Fincher’s highly anticipated adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s 2012 best-selling novel. She held her own opposite the likes of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Martin Freeman in Edgar Wright’s sci-fi action comedy The World’s End and also played the female lead opposite Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher. Her other credits include Wrath of the Titans, Barney’s Version, An Education and Joe Wright’s Pride & Prejudice, where she played eldest sister Jane Bennet. She made her big-screen debut as undercover MI6 agent Miranda Frost in 2002’s Die Another Day.
In addition to Magnolia, Pike continues to be repped by United Agents in the U.K.
